Following the phenomenal success of last year’s course, we have decided to run a two-day event this year. An interesting, informative and fun course beginning with a step-by-step demonstration on how to create an animal form using the clay slab technique and hand modelling. There will be an opportunity to try your hand at sculpting, with guidance from Neil should you need it. Please feel free to bring along your own source material if you wish. Suitable clay bodies, glaze and colouring, and alternative sculpture techniques will be discussed throughout the course. A full day course hosted by internationally renowned raku artist, John Wheeldon, incorporating demonstrations and plenty of hands-on opportunities.
