Clay Production

Our Production team are experiencing a number of challenges at the moment which are affecting scheduling and causing stock shortages of some clay bodies.

These challenges include:

• Difficulties with raw material deliveries, as delivery dates are regularly delayed due to the strain on global logistics placed upon it by Brexit and COVID.
• Production staffing, which is in a state of flux due to the ongoing pandemic and unprecedented demand.
• Production plans have had to be reorganised due to increased demand and to adjust scheduling around material availability. Moving from clay to clay is not without friction and therefore there will be unavoidable delays when scheduling changes.
