Creating Texture with Melt Gloops

Mayco Melt Gloops are stoneware glazes designed to add raised decoration and texture at mid-range to high-fire temperatures. Apply them using a syringe or squeeze bottle to create raised dots, individual accents or dripping effects down your pottery.

Arrange repeated marks around a rim, group them into patterns or add flowing trails along the sides of a vessel to create different decorative effects.

Colours and Contrasting Accents

The range includes bright shades alongside black and white, giving you options for different designs and colour combinations. Use a single colour to emphasise the raised texture or combine contrasting shades to highlight different areas of your piece.
