AMACO Ceramic Printing Inks are formulated specifically for printmaking on ceramics, offering rich colour for detailed imagery, repeat patterns and one-off designs. Ready to use on unfired clay or bisque, they suit a range of techniques, including:

• Screen printing detailed imagery onto ceramic tiles or vessels
• Stamping patterns for repeatable decorative motifs
• Monoprinting to create one-off impressions
• Craft foam printing for textured, hand-pressed designs

The inks can be used with or without glaze, giving you flexibility over the finished surface. For functional ware, use beneath a suitable food-safe glaze and follow AMACO’s application and firing guidance.

Printing Ink in a Range of Colours

Choose from saturated colours including Bright Orange, Bright Red, Deep Yellow, Hunter Green, Medium Blue and Turquoise Blue, alongside Black and White. Colours within the range are fully mixable, giving you scope to create additional shades and develop a palette for your designs.

A thin, unglazed application produces a matt finish, while applying a compatible transparent glaze can intensify colour and add a glossy surface. Applying the ink too thickly may also result in a glossier finish.

Fired results can vary according to application, clay body and firing temperature, so refer to the individual product information when choosing colours for your work.
