Among our Mayco glaze brushes, you can find two types of brushes. Both are high-quality products, ideal for applying glazes evenly on large or shaped surfaces, providing precision detailing within glazes or underglazes, and layering colours. Perfect Touch™ Brushes
Manufactured with kiln-dried birch hardwood handles, these brushes have handles that have been hand-dipped in five coats of lacquer and sealer to help resist moisture. They also feature triple crimped, nickel-plated, seamless Cupro brass ferrules, offering longer life and corrosion resistance.
Excelling in a wide variety of applications thanks to their blend of soft natural hair and Taklon, alongside their durable construction, these brushes can apply a generous amount of glaze, helping to reduce the need for constant reloading. Smaller brushes in the range are perfect for adding decorative elements to pottery, like line work or outlining.
Options include the detail liner brush with an ultra-fine tip for excellent control, or the pointed round brush for an all-rounder workhorse.
Reflections Acrylic Handle Brushes
Designed to prevent paint from peeling and flaking off onto projects, these brushes host a properly balanced handle and ferrule to provide a superior ceramic brush experience. With a carefully designed Golden Taklon brush head, this brush holds colour well, providing an even release to avoid blotches in decorative work. They can also be used in line work and in creating intricate patterns.
As the handles are resistant to water damage and cracking, these products are ideal for busy studios or educational classrooms due to their long-lasting quality.
