The Great Pottery Throw Down is Back!

Series 9 is finally here! Who watched the first episode on Sunday, and saw the opening sequence with Rich and Keith digging clay?
On a glorious day back in September, we welcomed the Pottery Throw Down crew to our clay quarry near Brownhills in South Staffordshire for a day of filming.
It was lucky the weather was fine, as the site is completely inaccessible during or after heavy rainfall. We still managed to make sure we created some nice slippery, muddy puddles especially for Keith and Rich...for authenticity of course.
It's amazing how much time and preparation goes into a 1m30s segment. We'd like to thank our site tenants, Colin and team at MPTT, for all their help with the excavations - it wouldn't have been possible without their support.
