Artist Profile - Maham Anjum

Maham Anjum

Maham is an award-winning ceramic designer creating from her workshop studio in London.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art and Central St Martins, her designs have been used extensively in the hospitality industry as well as creating ranges for international manufacturers.

Maham has collaborated with leading chefs and restaurateurs internationally including Jamie Oliver, Asma Khan, Vivek Singh, Atul Kuchhar, Vineet Bhatia and Lee Westcott to name a few, to create bespoke tableware.

Working with ceramic factories globally, she has experience and a sound understanding of the manufacturing process. Maham has developed ranges for companies including Habitat, Jamie at Home, David Mellor, Narumi, Royal Crown Derby and Steelite.

Maham’s designs are led by technical innovation and a desire to produce ceramics that can be manufactured simply. This draws on her research trips to South Asia (Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka) and Ethiopia where she successfully developed craft revival projects with local artisanal potters.
