07/12/23 We are back on top of orders for the time being, and are currently quoting an order turnaround time of 2-5 working days. Please note our Last Orders deadline of 13 December 2023 - read more>
13/11/23 Our container shipment from the USA has just arrived so turnaround time is extended whilst we pick, pack and despatch a large number of back-orders. We currently estimate up to 8 working days for parcels and pallets. Thank you for your patience.
20/07/23 Current in-stock order turnaround is up to 5 working days (parcels and pallets). The majority of smaller in-stock parcel orders to UK addresses are currently being despatched within 2 working days.
10/05/23 Due to an influx of orders our turnaround time is currently up to 10 working days. We are working to reduce this as soon as possible.
03/04/23 We are continuing to work to a 7-working-day turnaround for orders, although many smaller orders are despatched much sooner - often within a couple of days. We are not offering a Nextday delivery service, however, if you have a deadline to meet we will do our best to get your order to you quickly. Just leave us a note at checkout.
12/08/22 All parcel and pallet despatches (containing in-stock items) are currently processed within 7 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays. If you have an urgent, relatively small order, please contact us at email@example.com and we will do our best to despatch sooner.
06/06/22 Our Royal Mail and FedEx despatches (containing in-stock items) are still being processed within 7 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays. Unfortunately, larger palletised orders are taking longer - up to 10 working days.
05/04/22 We are pleased to advise our turnaround time has returned to our standard 7 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) for in-stock orders. Within this timescale, courier and post orders tend to be despatched more quicky than palletised orders.
24/03/22 We are finally beginning to get on top of our order backlog. Our current order turnaround aim is up to 10 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). As the situation stands at the time of writing, postal and courier orders are taking up to 5 working days for processing and delivery, and palletised orders are taking up to 10 working days. We would like to thank you again for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
24/02/22 Order volumes are continuing to rise which is increasing delivery lead times. We are committed to fulfilling orders chronologically which we feel is fairest to everyone, but this can mean that even small postal orders can take as long as larger parcel and palletised orders. Despite our best efforts - reviewing systems, staff recruitment and reducing showroom opening hours - our delivery lead times are currently between 10 and 15 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays. This is obviously far longer than we would like. We can only apologise and assure you that we are working hard to improve the situation. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
10/01/22 We have reopened today following the Christmas break and have begun to process the large volume of orders received since 23 December. We would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work hard to fulfil and despatch orders in as short a time as possible. Currently, as a general guide for in-stock products, order turnaround for both courier and pallet haulier is up to 10 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays) although for smaller in-stock orders we tend to despatch more quickly.
22/11/21 Like many other UK businesses, we continue to experience increased lead times for raw material and other product deliveries, short-shipping of many imported goods due to supply chain issues, congestion at ports and disruption to courier/haulage services. Increased demand combined with a challenging labour market have also had an effect. As a result, manufacturing and delivery lead times are much longer than we would like, which can often create problems for our customers. We would kindly ask that our customers bear the above in mind and try to forward-plan much earlier to accommodate these delays. To avoid disappointment, it's essential that our customers place an order as early as possible for their requirements, especially clay so that our production planning can take account of these. If there is no order on our system, we're unable to do this effectively. We're hopeful that the situation will improve in the future, but in the meantime, many thanks for your help and for your understanding of these challenges.
