The Clayscapes Pottery Signature Line glazes have been developed to meet the needs of hobbyists, small-scale ceramicists and studio professionals alike. The glazes have been developed for both beauty and dependability, and provide a trusted choice for adding surface design, whether you're drawn to satin blacks, glossy blues or soft celadons.
Each batch of glaze provides consistent results with clear, repeatable outcomes, perfect for those experimenting with firing temperature or combining and layering glazes. Made for dipping and pouring, these glazes have been developed by potters for potters. They are easy to mix up and use, and work well in combination with each other. They are lead-free, microwave, dishwasher, and food safe. Garden Green, Satin Black and Copper Patina are the only three that are not food appropriate.
Easy to Mix Colourful Glazes
All glazes in the Signature Line are designed to be easy to mix, reliable in the kiln and offer visual versatility. There are a number of standout glazes in the range that make great choices, such as Tim's Dark Celadon - a rich, deep take on a studio classic - which offers a sophisticated green colour.
Arctic Blue brings cool, oceanic tones and can be paired with a glaze like Fog Gray for added context and visual depth. There's also Garden Green, a glossy, food safe glaze that brings a natural green vibrancy, or Royal Blue for a high-end look.
