Siblings Natasha & Lanty Ball collaborated to create richly decorated porcelain vessels. The pieces are wheel-thrown by Lanty and, following a bisque firing, Natasha applies the detailed surface patterns using a black designer liner. The designs flow around the vessels in a patchwork of abstract patterns, some of which resemble fantastical landscapes. The pieces are then covered with a transparent glaze which interacts with the pigment underneath in the firing to create a smooth, glossy finish.
