The new Giffin Grip Trim Guard keeps your trimmings in the splash pan! It’s waterproof for easy cleaning and adjustable to fit various splash pan designs. The clips can be placed on the inside or outside depending on preference.

Will the Trim Guard fit my wheel?

The Trim Guard is designed for circular splash pans with a 3/4” rim. Some circular splash pans have wider rims that require the Trim Guard™ clips to be bent to fit. This is a simple modification that can easily be done with a pair of pliers. Without modification, the Trim Guard™ will fit the Shimpo and Brent wheels listed below in Related Products.

The Trim Guard will also fit the Rohde HMT wheels with a round tray with modification to the clips. The Trim Guard is designed to work on either the inside or outside of the splash pan. If you take off the metal clips and turn them around, they will allow you to clip the shield to the inside of the splash pan. This will reduce the circumference. Once you have it sized correctly use the velcro buttons the succure the loose end and hold it in the correct position. In our opinion, the Trim Guard works best when set up this way. Before you flip the clips around, try to bend each one open to a 90° angle. This will allow them to lay flat on the lip of your splash pan. If you use a pair of pliers, you should be able to bend them quite easily.
