North Star, like many other manufacturers, are experiencing disruptions and extended lead times. Their current 14-16 week estimate is a result of uncertainty in the supply chain and the current length of their order queue. In addition, shipping times need to be factored into overall lead time calculations: Our container shipments from the USA are scheduled every 8-12 weeks, and there have been disruptions to sea freight which has extended transit times.
