We are devastated to have to share the very sad news that Mark Winkle, Potclays' Works Manager, has passed away suddenly at home.

We are devastated to have to share the very sad news that Mark Winkle, Potclays' Works Manager, has passed away suddenly at home.

We are all in shock and trying to come to terms with the news. Mark was a stalwart of the company and had been with us for almost 30 years.

Many of you will know him from the various ceramics shows, and from our Open Days or factory tours. Mark loved to get 'out and about' meeting the potters using our clay, and persuading others to try them out. He was an 'ideas man' and fiercely loyal to Potclays, always acting in our best interests. We will miss him more than words can express.

Please keep Mark's family (and his Potclays family) in your thoughts and prayers, in particular his wife Maxine, son and daughter-in-law Scott & Amanda, and grandchildren Megan, Morgan and Myla.
