Tower Poppies: Campaign

A CAMPAIGN has been launched to ensure iconic works of art, forged from Potteries clay, come to Stoke-on-Trent as part of a nationwide tour. The Sentinel has teamed up with Etruria-based-Potclays – which supplied the artists with 497 tonnes of Stoke-on-Trent clay – Stoke-on-Trent Central MP Tristram Hunt, along with scores of politicians, business, education, community and charity leaders across the city, as well as artists, historians and senior British Army officers to ensure the tour stops off in the home of the ceramics industry.
