POTCLAYS SPONSOR YORKSHIRE ARTSPACE AGAIN IN 2019

Starter studio ceramicist Rebecca Brown has been selected for the 'All Fired Up' annual commission, which is supported by Potclays, Museums Sheffield and South Yorkshire Housing Association. She says: "I'm really looking forward to working on the 'All Fired Up' commission it gives me the chance to be ambitious and explore some new techniques. I've already made good use of the sponsorship from Potclays and can't wait to dive into the clay and other new materials I've ordered." Rebecca is going to be meeting with people from SYHA's LiveWell project - which supports older people to live well in their own homes, over the next few weeks to make pages for a 'clay-book' that will be displayed at Millennium Gallery, and will ultimately join the city's ceramic collection.
