Advice for Users of the Force 8 Mask
As the ongoing Coronavirus epidemic continues to seriously impact the global supply chain of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE), there is a very real risk of disposable respirator stocks being exhausted before normal supply and stock levels resume.
It is therefore vitally important to educate users as to what options they have to both significantly prolong the life of their JSP Force 8 Respirator and also to consider other product options available to them.
JSP Force respirators are reusable - they can be easily stripped, cleaned, maintained and reused for an indefinite period of time. Replacement filters whilst not indefinite, last far longer than single use disposable respirators. JSP recommend 1-3 days for high use, 3-5 days for medium use and 28 days maximum for light use.
Please note: This mask is not recommended for virus protection. The purpose of this announcement is to highlight the global shortage and to educate existing users how to extend the life of the filters in normal ceramic use. We are very unlikely to have any stock until at least June 2020.
