Botz Stoneware Brush-on Glazes (Cone 6-10)

BOTZ stoneware glazes are formulated to perform beautifully across a wide firing range. They range from glossy stoneware finishes to matt surfaces, speckled textures, vibrant colour tones, and expressive special-effect glazes such as crackle, granite, and Ice Crystal.

Many colours, such as Bright Blue, Deep Blue, Cactus Green, and popular grey stoneware tones, intensify with heat. Conversely, matt glazes become most attractive at temperatures above 1250 °C. Slightly uneven application can enhance character, exaggerating speckles, breaks, gloss, and runs depending on the specific glaze.

Each glaze should be stirred thoroughly and applied undiluted in 2 to 3 generous coats with a soft brush. These brush-on glazes don’t run when used correctly, making them suitable for potters of all levels.
