An alternative to 3134 frit (2273) whilst 3134 is unavailable. Testing is needed.

This Ferro frit is intended for use as a lime and borate source in partially fritted glazes, lead bisilicate glazes and low cost hobby glazes cone 06-10.

Melting range approx. 790-870C (1450-1600F)

Notes regarding Ferro 3134:

Jan 2026: Unfortunately QC issues persist with our US supply of Ferro Frit 3134 so we are stocking Fusion Frit F12 as an alternative until further notice.

July 2025: We have been made aware there have been QC issues with one or two specific batches of Ferro frit 3134 and until resolved we are not comfortable stocking this material. Our last delivery was in December 2024, well before these issues began.
