At Potclays, we understand that modelling clay plays an important role in child development. As part of our air dry clay range, we offer a simple modelling clay designed for children to improve hand and eye coordination in the comfort of their homes. This air-drying clay also helps children to use their imagination, develop creative skills and learn about shapes and forms by rolling, cutting and shaping. Available in different quantities between 1 Kg and 500 Kg to suit your specific needs. A standard full bag size is 12.5 Kg.

For more durable pieces, the clay can be fired and glazes applied. Should you wish to fire this clay, ensure adequate ventilation of fumes. The recommended firing range is 1000°C to 1280°C for the grey version and up to 1050°C for the red.

Other Information

Please note our clay is sold by approximate weight. Your total order weight for a specific clay body will be despatched in the most economical combination of packs possible. If you require individual packs of a specific size, please state this in the Special Instructions during checkout.

To comply with RHA regulations concerning tail-lift deliveries (where there is no fork-lift truck available at the delivery point), the maximum net weight of clay we are now permitted to pack on a standard pallet is 950kg (76 x 12.5kg bags of clay). To achieve the best price for your clay, please add the full 1000kg to your cart when checking out and we will make the necessary weight adjustment/refund when we receive the order.
