- Ours are NOT Grey Imports: Grey imports are those that don't follow the usual route through the manufacturer's own distribution system and therefore may well not meet the UK's rigorous safety standards. As we are the only official, authorised distributors for the UK and Eire, our Shimpo products are supplied direct from Japan on an authorised basis and are manufactured specifically for the UK market, therefore they have the correct electrical ratings, plugs, etc. and comply fully with UK regulations.
- Technical/After Sales/Warranty Support: Our technical advisor is only a phone call away for full and comprehensive support. You're never far from help when you buy from Potclays.
- Parts Readily Available: We have regular shipments from Shimpo Japan, so in the unlikely event that something should go wrong with your wheel during its warranty period, if necessary we can obtain spare parts quickly.
Shimpo Repair and Servicing
Please note that due to the issue of unsupported Grey Imports on the UK market, we are only able to service, repair or supply spare parts for Shimpo wheels imported by Potclays and our distributors. These carry a red “Imported by Potclays” sticker on the dataplate. We will ask for photographic evidence before processing an order.
