The Stafford ST315B is a 9-program kiln temperature controller designed predominantly for ceramic and glass electric kilns. Each program can have up to 9 segments. The controller is fully adjustable with a detailed 5-lamp mimic display & continuous display of program & segment numbers. Each segment comprises a ramp followed by a soak. Ramps can be heating or cooling. It executes a controlled ramp to the soak temperature where it dwells for the required period then executes the next segment. The end of the program is marked by selecting ‘End’ while entering a ramp rate. Natural cooling then follows.

The ST315B is supplied with Signal relays driving contactors within the kiln, for the powered version that directly operates a kiln up to 20amps see the ST315BP.  The controller has advaced diagnostics and protection including power surge protection and over-temperature safety. The ST315B is supplied without plug and leads which are available if required.
