Potfest Potters Competitions 2023 sponsored by Potclays
At each of the Potfest shows, the potters are invited to enter a piece of their work that responds to a theme. The theme for the potters’ competition at all of the 2023 Potfest events is Nursery Rhymes. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite on the day for a chance to win a free entry to all of the Potfest events for life with a Potfest Passport.

We have made the decision to close for the day on Monday 19th September, to allow our workforce to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign whilst she is laid to rest. We will re-open on Tuesday 20th September.
Amaco Product Discontinuation

North Star Lead Times
North Star, like many other manufacturers, are experiencing disruptions and extended lead times. Their current 14-16 week estimate is a result of uncertainty in the supply chain and the current length of their order queue. In addition, shipping times need to be factored into overall lead time calculations: Our container shipments from the USA are scheduled every 8-12 weeks, and there have been disruptions to sea freight which has extended transit times. Thank you for your understanding.
Clay Production Update
Unfortunately we were recently informed that one of our staple raw materials is no longer available. This material is used in a number of our clay bodies and its unavailability has had a considerable impact on our clay production. We have been working hard behind the scenes in the last few weeks to identify a suitable alternative material and recalculate our recipes accordingly. Prices are in the process of being reviewed due to the higher cost price of this raw material.
