This potters lathe is another addition to our range of proffessional equipment, it is built to give a long trouble free life with little maintenance required.

The machine construction consists of 1/4" steel base, at each end there are two aluminimum plates in which the bearings are mounted. The shaft is 1 3/8" diameter with a 1" Whitworth thread. The motor is a 1/2Hp AC which transfers its drive to the shaft via a V belt and pulley. The speed is controlled by a AC electronic speed controller which has a reversing facility on it and the speed is varied by a hand operated knob, a foot operation is avaiable as optional extra.

The machine is totally enclosed for protection and comes complete with adjustable tool rest and its own base to which the tool rest is fixed.
