About

  • Dry ground soda-rich feldspar
  • Feldspar is a major flux in clay bodies and in high temperature glazes, some of which may contain 70% or more or more feldspar.
  • A natural, low-cost source of fluxes in glazes and clay bodies where higher 'soda' content is required to reduce melting temperature.
  • The term 'potash', 'soda', 'lime' etc. denotes the principal, but not the only, flux present.
