New for 2024, this unique Moorland Pottery mug is a celebration of Potclays' long heritage and history. Jon Plant from Moorland Pottery visited us several times, making sketches and jotting down ideas for designs. This is the result. We are quite proud of it and we hope you like it too. Many thanks to Jon for his vision, and for working with us to bring this to fruition.

A bit about Moorland Pottery...

Moorland Pottery has been trading for over 60 years, having taken over Studio Szeiler in 1987 and changing the name to Moorland Pottery after the name of the road that the factory resides on. In the early days they were more focused on the 'Art Pottery' and collectable pottery scene, concentrating on hand craft and technique. Though they have transformed the business from those early days in to a very much more focused operation, the early work still resonates in their current production. Today they sit positioned with an unmistakable style that sets them apart from any other producer, and one which lends itself to the themes that they now work with.
