Creative Clay™ Airdrying Clay (Red) 165-1188

Potclays' Creative Clay is an air-drying clay developed using the highest quality materials available.
Essentially a standard potter modelling clay with an addition of nylon fibres to provide exceptional bonded strength when dry and unfired. These nylon reinforcing fibres are an excellent bonding agent which reduces brittleness and means that the clay need not be fired.
It is an ideal modelling medium for both children and adults, and can be painted and varnished once dry.
For more durable pieces, the clay can be fired and glazes applied.
Should you wish to fire this clay, ensure adequate ventilation of fumes.
The recommended firing range of Creative Clay™ is 1000°c to 1280°c for the grey version and up to 1050°c for the red.

Please note our clay is sold by approximate weight. Your total order weight for a specific clay body will be despatched in the most economical combination of packs possible. If you require individual packs of a specific size, please state this in the Special Instructions during checkout.

To comply with RHA regulations concerning tail-lift deliveries (where there is no fork-lift truck available at the delivery point), the maximum net weight of clay we are now permitted to pack on a standard pallet is 950kg (76 x 12.5kg bags of clay). To achieve the best price for your clay, please add the full 1000kg to your cart when checking out and we will make the necessary weight adjustment/refund when we receive the order.
