Amaco Velvet Brush-On Underglaze: Red 59ml

A ready mixed range of underglaze colours. Maximum firing temperature of 1220oC unless otherwise indicated on jar. If fired to between 1000-1100oC and left unglazed the colours produce a 'velvet' texture finish. When fired between 1140-1220oC velvet colours become slightly self-glazing. Velvet colours can be applied to greenware or biscuit and can be glazed if required.

Due to the organic nature of the product and the encapsulated pigments in our Red, Orange, and Yellow underglazes, they can, over time, become discolored and produce an unpleasant smell. See this document for advice>
