The Mayco Stoneware 2026 Ritual Glaze kit includes 3 cone 5/6 Melt Gloop Glazes andn3 cone 5/6 Bead Glazes in 4oz jars. Great for testing on your clay bodies and trying new combinations. This kit offers one each of the following:

• SW420 White Melt Gloop Glaze             non-toxic & not recommended for dinnerware pieces
• SW423 Slime Green Melt Gloop Glaze   non-toxic & not recommended for dinnerware pieces
• SW425 Black Melt Gloop Glaze              non-toxic & not recommended for dinnerware pieces
• SW442 Orange Bead Glaze                     non-toxic & not recommended for dinnerware pieces
• SW444 Pink Bead Glaze                          non-toxic & not recommended for dinnerware pieces
• SW447 Blue Bead Glaze                          non-toxic & not recommended for dinnerware pieces

Wide Temperature Range - Designed to fire at Cone 6 but can be successfully used at Cone 10, oxidation or reduction. Testing at the higher ranges is recommended.

Glaze Compatibility - Stoneware glazes work well with each other and other Mayco glazes, providing endless opportunities to combine and layer to create intriguing visual effects.

In March 2025, Mayco Colors announced the acquisition of Ritual Glaze, a woman-owned ceramic glaze company founded by Sarah Bingham in Portland, Oregon. Known for its innovative special effect glazes such as Bead, Crawl, Melt Gloop and Moon Rocks, Ritual Glaze will now be produced and distributed through Mayco’s global network, making the popular small-batch products more widely available to ceramic artists worldwide. Sarah Bingham will continue working alongside the Mayco team to help preserve the brand’s creative vision and unique aesthetic. Mayco says the acquisition expands its glaze offering with exciting new textural and specialty finishes for mid-range and high-fire ceramics.

Melt Gloop is a stoneware glaze designed for application in dots or creating a dripping effect down your ceramic piece using a syringe or squeeze bottle.

Beads is a stoneware glaze that produces a dimensional, beaded texture in varying sizes. A heavier application will result in a more pronounced bead pattern.
